DR LIBBY WEAVER
Dr Libby Weaver (PhD) graduated from the University of Newcastle in Australia with a Bachelor of Health Science Nutrition and Dietetics with Honours, and a PhD in Biochemistry. She combines this knowledge with 18 years of clinical practice working with patients from all walks of life.
Her pioneering PhD research uncovered biochemical and nutritional factors that impacted children with autism. This led to astounding results that forever improved the lives of those she worked with and altered the way the condition is treated in Australia and New Zealand.
While working in private practice and at some of the world’s leading health retreats, Dr Libby witnessed first-hand the true impact of poor nutrient intake. Our diets today often contain too much convenience food and food from depleted soils. Couple this with the relentless production of stress hormones and livers that aren’t able to keep up with certain lifestyle choices, and we’re faced with an all too common recipe for the basis of poor health and energy.
Using this strong understanding of biochemical pathways and her clinical experience of what supports people to get their health outcomes, Dr Libby formulated Bio Blends.
